Where History Meets Vision
Welcome to Modern Manor, a timeless destination born from a blend of history, vision, and a shared passion for refined living.
Our Historic Building
Nestled across the street from the iconic Boone Hall, our store stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of the Hamlin family. Originally part of a vegetable stand, the building evolved over time, encapsulating a piece of local history with its distinctive red barn exterior.
Boone Hall Market Legacy
Previously known as Boone Hall Market, the building is a chapter in the town's history. Itβs served as a gathering place, witnessing the hustle and bustle of locals seeking fresh produce and a sense of community. Over the years, the building evolved into more than just a market β it's a living piece of Mount Pleasant's narrative.
Our Vendors
Don't expect your typical marketplace. We're set up like a department store with 27 vendors from as far as the Hamptons outside New York city. We have pieces from Paris, linen apparel from Italy, print dresses from India, jewelery, home decor, vintage and new, lighting and art, makeup and garden decor.
Each vendor has their distinctive style and taste- some are refined, some are casual and relaxed so we have something for every person we welcome through our doors.
The Founders β Jess and Karen

contact usJess, a former teacher with a natural flair for decor and an innate love for creative expression, dreamed of owning a store. Karen, armed with a background in interior design and construction, brought a wealth of skills and a network that would prove invaluable.
